The role of a Supply Chain Operations Executive is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the supply chain within an organization. The executive is responsible for managing the complexities of supply and demand, which requires exceptional organizational skills and strong communication. Responsibilities

  • Monitor supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Analyze data from logistics systems for efficiency improvements and cost reductions.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to benefit the organization.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain performance and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with procurement and production teams to meet supply and demand requirements.
  • Identify and resolve any issues in the supply chain to prevent disruptions.
  • Create detailed reports on operational metrics and performance insights for management.
  • Oversee inventory levels and coordinate orders to ensure accurate stock availability.
  • Collaborate with IT to streamline logistics systems and implement technological improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and quality standards within the supply chain processes.
  • Train and supervise employees within the supply chain operations department.
  • Continuously evaluate supplier performance and develop improvement plans as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in supply chain management or relevant roles.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing supply chain strategies successfully.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data effectively.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Proficient with supply chain management software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on team collaboration.
