Job Description

The Supply Chain Operations Executive is a vital component of any organization, responsible for overseeing and managing the entire supply chain process. This role involves coordinating with various departments, ensuring that every stage of the supply chain—from sourcing products to delivering them to the end customer—is executed seamlessly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset with a robust understanding of supply chain management principles, including logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and demand forecasting. They will be expected to implement best practices, optimize processes, and improve cost-efficiency across the supply chain. The position demands excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with suppliers, logistics providers, and customers. The Executive will monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and work closely with the team to implement solutions that drive business objectives and enhance customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Oversee the procurement process, negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring the adequate stock is maintained for customer demands.
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics and generate reports for management.
  • Identify and resolve supply chain issues and discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Establish relationships with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure reliability and quality.
  • Lead and manage the logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Implement best practices in supply chain management to optimize processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies regarding supply chain operations.
  • Plan and execute demand forecasting and inventory planning initiatives effectively.
  • Train and supervise supply chain staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management or logistics roles.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven negotiation skills with suppliers, vendors, and logistics providers.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in monitoring performance metrics.
