Job Description

As a Reservation Executive, you will play a pivotal role in managing bookings and enhancing customer satisfaction in the hospitality industry. This position demands excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple reservation systems efficiently. You will be responsible for coordinating with customers to ensure their travel or stay experiences are seamless and enjoyable. A Reservation Executive must be adept at troubleshooting customer queries and providing prompt and amicable resolutions. This role also entails maintaining good communication with different departments to ensure customer needs are prioritized and met. Passion for customer service and the capability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment are key traits of a successful Reservation Executive.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and process reservations via phone, online platforms, and in person.
  • Communicate effectively with customers addressing their reservation queries promptly.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled seamlessly.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, cancellations, and modifications in the system.
  • Provide timely confirmations and notifications to customers about their reservations.
  • Assist customers with special requests and handle last-minute changes efficiently.
  • Monitor and update reservation systems to reflect current availability and promotions.
  • Resolve customer complaints and conflicts with tact and professionalism.
  • Compile and analyze customer feedback for continual service improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on reservation procedures and customer service standards.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to suggest promotional packages and discounts.
  • Prepare and present reservation-related reports to management as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in reservation management or a similar role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in using reservation software and customer management systems.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail required.
  • Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure environments effectively.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a customer-first approach.
