Job Description

A Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in the healthcare industry, offering comprehensive patient care and support, while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of medical professionals. RNs are responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. Responsibilities

  • Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care plans.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care delivery.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and medical personnel.
  • Perform and assist with diagnostic tests, procedures, and medical examinations.
  • Collect patient specimens and ensure proper labeling and handling for laboratory analysis.
  • Document all nursing interventions and patient responses in medical records precisely.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and nursing education programs.
  • Adhere to all healthcare regulations and nursing best practices consistently.

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the applicable state or region.
  • Bachelor's or associate degree in nursing from an accredited institution is necessary.
  • Minimum of one year experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities under diverse situations.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record systems and standard medical software.
