Job Description

As a Procurement / Supply Chain Executive, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient acquisition and distribution of goods and materials crucial for our organization's operations. You will be tasked with developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies to optimize supply chain processes. Your role will be instrumental in maintaining supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring inventory management aligns with business goals. You will work closely with various departments to forecast needs, manage budgets, and align supply chain activities with the organization's financial strategies. Your expertise in cost analysis and risk management will be critical in identifying opportunities to reduce costs and enhance operational efficiency.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that optimize supply chain operations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate procurement of goods and services needed by the company.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to forecast procurement needs and budgets.
  • Monitor market trends and conduct supplier performance evaluations regularly.
  • Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify cost-saving opportunities and risks.
  • Establish comprehensive policies and procedures for procurement processes.
  • Coordinate logistics and distribution to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging supply chain technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful agreements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to drive efficiency improvements.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
