Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet organizational objectives efficiently.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  • Monitor market trends and industry conditions to anticipate company needs.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Prepare and present reports on procurement and supply chain metrics to senior management.
  • Identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
  • Resolve any issues related to procurement, such as delivery delays or quality discrepancies.
  • Ensure that all purchasing activities are carried out in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize transportation and distribution operations.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of procurement activities and supplier information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and procurement principles and best practices.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using procurement and inventory management software tools.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize supply chain processes.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in managing supplier relationships and handling complex contracts.
