Job Description

As a Medical Representative, you play a crucial role in the healthcare industry by being the vital link between pharmaceutical companies and healthcare professionals. Your primary responsibility is to promote and sell your company's products, which can range from pharmaceutical medications to medical devices. You will be tasked with building and nurturing professional relationships with healthcare providers such as doctors, pharmacists, and nurses. This involves presenting product information, conducting product demonstrations, and providing valuable insights about your company's offerings. Your deep understanding of the medical product you are selling, paired with excellent communication skills, will help drive product adoption and increase sales. Your efforts directly contribute to improving patient care and outcomes by ensuring healthcare professionals have access to the best medical solutions available.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive sales and achieve targets in your designated territory.
  • Conduct regular visits to healthcare professionals to promote your company’s products.
  • Provide detailed product presentations and demonstrations to medical staff.
  • Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers in the healthcare sector.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the competition and industry developments.
  • Prepare and deliver sales reports and forecasts to management on a regular basis.
  • Assist in organizing and attending medical conferences, exhibitions, and seminars.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policy standards in all interactions.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to implement promotional strategies and campaigns.
  • Handle and resolve customer queries, providing excellent after-sales support.
  • Track and report on feedback from the field to improve product strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport.
  • Self-motivated, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to understand and explain complex medical concepts and products.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the designated sales territory.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
