As a Medical Records Assistant, designated with the code 14N25, you will play a vital role in the healthcare system by ensuring that patient records are kept accurate, secure, and up to date.   • Assist in training new staff members in policies and procedures related to medical records management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in health information management preferred.
  • Previous experience in a medical records department or healthcare administration is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems and related software applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with staff and patients.
  • Understanding of healthcare privacy laws, including HIPAA requirements, is critical.
