Job Description

As an Inventory Executive, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our inventory processes and systems. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the inventory department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all inventory transactions. Your expertise will drive the improvement of inventory control measures, leading to increased productivity and reduced waste. You will collaborate closely with different departments such as procurement, logistics, and finance to anticipate inventory needs, manage stock levels, and maintain an effective supply chain. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a strategic mindset to analyze inventory trends and make data-driven decisions.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily inventory operations and manage inventory control processes effectively.
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely and accurate replenishment of stock.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend inventory optimization solutions.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory checks and audits to ensure data accuracy.
  • Monitor inventory performance metrics to drive the continuous improvement of processes.
  • Liaise with other departments to forecast inventory demands and manage supply chain needs.
  • Prepare detailed inventory reports for management and stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Implement and enforce policies to minimize inventory shrinkage and losses.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory transactions in the system.
  • Train and supervise inventory staff to ensure adherence to inventory management protocols.
  • Resolve any discrepancies in inventory counts and investigate inconsistencies as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role within the industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process improvements.
  • Proficient understanding of inventory management best practices and strategies.
