The Front Desk Receptionist is a vital first point of contact for all clients, visitors, and employees entering the organization. As the face of the company, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive first impression of the company. Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome all visitors with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Manage and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate department or individual.
  • Maintain and manage the reception area to ensure it is tidy and presentable.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings as requested by management.
  • Receive and sort daily mail, deliveries, and courier shipments efficiently.
  • Assist in administrative tasks such as data entry and filing, when required.
  • Provide basic and accurate information regarding the company or services offered.
  • Coordinate with office support services to ensure necessary supplies are available.
  • Liaise with building management on issues related to office facilities and maintenance.
  • Support other departments with clerical duties as needed for operational efficiency.
  • Maintain security checks by monitoring logbooks and issuing visitor badges.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve or escalate complaints in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification is required for this role.
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for the position.
  • Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office and email systems.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly and professional appearance with an emphasis on customer service.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for this role.
