Job Description

As a Factory Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing operations on the factory floor, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for coordinating daily activities, supervising factory workers, and implementing production plans to meet quality and safety standards. Your leadership skills will be essential in maintaining high levels of productivity and worker morale. You will also work closely with management to optimize processes and drive continuous improvement, while adhering to company policies and regulations. A successful Factory Supervisor is expected to have strong organizational abilities, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes to effectively lead their team toward achieving the company's production goals.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage daily factory operations to maintain productivity standards.
  • Ensure all safety and health regulations are strictly adhered to within the factory.
  • Oversee the performance of factory staff and provide necessary training and feedback.
  • Coordinate with management to implement production plans and monitor their execution.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment and machinery are in good working condition.
  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on the factory floor promptly.
  • Develop and enforce factory policies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for material requirements.
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of production activities and outcomes.
  • Facilitate effective communication between management and factory employees.
  • Support and contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of production processes and operational management skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to factory operations.
  • Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A degree or diploma in industrial engineering or a related field is preferred.
