Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Manager (17A26) to join our growing team. As a Construction Manager, you will oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of construction processes, methods, and best practices. Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans, including budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee all onsite and offsite construction activities to monitor compliance with building regulations.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors for effective workflow.
  • Ensure contractual conditions of performance are met by all parties involved.
  • Review work progress on a daily basis and report findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to determine project specifications.
  • Set performance goals and deadlines for construction teams and monitor progress regularly.
  • Ensure quality construction standards and proper construction techniques are implemented.
  • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status, including budget expenditures.
  • Conduct risk management analysis to identify and mitigate potential project risks.
  • Implement safety measures and facilitate adherence to safety policies and procedures.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in construction management or a supervisory role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, blueprints, and project management software.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to guide team members effectively.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building products, construction details, and regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
