A Yoga Instructor is a dedicated professional passionate about promoting physical health, mental well-being, and inner peace through the practice of yoga. As a Yoga Instructor, you will be responsible for guiding students of all levels in various yoga styles, ensuring each session is engaging, safe, and transformative. You will tailor instruction to suit the needs, experience, and goals of your students while fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. This role requires a deep understanding of yoga principles, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate participants to integrate yoga into their everyday lives, enhancing their overall well-being and fitness.

Responsibilities

• Design class sequences that cater to different skill levels and abilities.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment by offering modifications and adjustments.
• Educate students on the benefits of various yoga poses and practices.
• Conduct classes for individuals or groups, both in-person and virtually.
• Demonstrate poses and techniques with clarity and precision to students.
• Monitor student progress and provide personalized feedback and encouragement.
• Stay updated with current yoga trends and integrate them into classes.
• Lead meditation sessions to help students relax and focus on breathing.
• Maintain an atmosphere of respect, encouragement, and non-judgment for all participants.
• Collaborate with management to schedule classes and maintain studio hygiene.
• Promote upcoming workshops and events to enhance student engagement.
• Obtain feedback to improve class offerings and instructional techniques regularly.

Requirements

• Certified Yoga Instructor with an accredited yoga teacher training qualification.
• Minimum of one year experience teaching a variety of yoga styles.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• In-depth knowledge of yoga postures, alignment, and breath work principles.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
• First Aid and CPR certifications are advantageous for safety assurance.
• A compassionate and patient attitude toward teaching students of all levels.
