Job Description

A Telemarketing Executive plays a crucial role in the sales and marketing team, responsible for generating leads, maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets through telephone communication. This position requires excellent communication skills, a persuasive approach, and the ability to handle rejection. The Telemarketing Executive works closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop strategies for reaching potential clients. This role involves making cold calls, setting up appointments for sales representatives, and maintaining records of interactions in the customer database. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and possess a keen ability to understand customer needs and pitch relevant products or services effectively.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound telephone calls to prospects to generate new sales leads.
  • Follow up on potential customer inquiries to convert them into sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Develop strategies to effectively reach target markets through telemarketing efforts.
  • Communicate product features and benefits to prospective customers clearly and persuasively.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to schedule appointments and create sales pipelines.
  • Update and maintain accurate customer information in the database system.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales and lead generation targets.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services offerings.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and market trends related to our industry.
  • Handle customer objections or complaints calmly and effectively to provide resolutions.
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to improve sales techniques and product knowledge.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a telemarketing or similar sales/customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and other languages preferred.
  • Strong persuasive abilities and ability to handle rejection professionally.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative sales team.
  • High school diploma is required; a degree in marketing or relevant field preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and telemarketing software tools is an advantage.
