Job Description

The role of a Supply Chain Executive is a critical component of the operations team, responsible for overseeing and managing the entire supply chain process. This ensures the efficient and effective movement of goods from suppliers to customers. As a Supply Chain Executive, you will be tasked with identifying and implementing improvements in supply chain processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating logistics, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with all relevant supply chain regulations. An effective Supply Chain Executive possesses strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of supply chain management principles. Your ability to solve problems creatively and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams will contribute significantly to the success of the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with company objectives.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure favorable agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with international supply chain regulations and standards.
  • Oversee logistics and transportation to ensure goods are delivered efficiently.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to manage product flow and demand planning.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of supply chain activities.
  • Develop contingency plans to address potential supply chain disruptions.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on supply chain performance.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance supply chain sustainability and environmental impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years experience in supply chain management or logistics.
  • Proven track record of managing complex supply chain operations successfully.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for effective decision-making.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with stakeholders and vendors.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
