Job Description

As a Store Keeper with the designation 22F26, you will be an integral part of our organization, responsible for managing and overseeing the operations within our storehouse. This role involves maintaining inventory levels, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and organizing products efficiently. Your primary objective is to ensure the smooth flow of goods and materials while maintaining a clean and orderly store environment. You will coordinate with various departments to meet their inventory requirements and collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely restocking. Additionally, as a Store Keeper, you will be responsible for maintaining safety protocols and optimizing space utilization to enhance operational efficiency. Your keen attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage inventory will contribute to the company's overall success.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, ensuring proper stock levels.
  • Oversee the process of receiving, storing, and distributing goods in the storehouse.
  • Ensure all products are stored safely and in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to replenish stock and manage order cycles efficiently.
  • Conduct regular checks and audits of inventory to prevent discrepancies.
  • Optimize the layout and organization of the store to maximize space.
  • Manage return goods process including capturing reasons and conditions for returns.
  • Ensure that all inventory documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
  • Implement effective stock control systems to minimize losses and damage.
  • Liaise with purchasing and production departments to align on inventory needs.
  • Keep track of slow-moving and obsolete stock for potential clearance handling.
  • Prepare reports on inventory for management review on a regular basis.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Store Keeper or relevant role in inventory management.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and stock control procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment and basic computer applications.
  • Strong communication skills for effective liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations within a warehouse environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in logistics or inventory management preferred.
