Job Description

The Store In-charge position is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of a retail establishment. This critical position ensures that the store runs smoothly and efficiently, focusing on customer satisfaction, inventory management, staff supervision, and sales maximization. As a Store In-charge, you will be tasked with monitoring sales activities, developing business strategies to expand store traffic, and improving profitability while maintaining a high standard of customer service. You will also be the point of reference for employees, managing recruitment, training, and overall personnel development. The ability to operate independently and make quick decisions in a fast-paced retail environment is key to success in this position.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the store, ensuring all processes run efficiently.
  • Manage and supervise store staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and support.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock availability.
  • Implement and manage promotional activities to drive sales and traffic.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring financial goals are met consistently.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and develop sales strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure store compliance with health, safety, and operational standards.
  • Maintain store standards and cleanliness, ensuring a pleasant shopping environment.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Recruit and train new staff, conducting performance reviews to maintain quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in retail management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail management software is essential.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a focus on improving service and satisfaction.
