Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive sports programs and lesson plans for diverse student abilities.
• Organize and oversee school sports teams, facilitating practice sessions and matches.
• Foster an inclusive environment that encourages all students to participate in activities.
• Evaluate students' physical abilities and progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition among students.
• Plan and conduct extracurricular sports activities, competitions, and events.
• Ensure the safety and proper use of sports equipment during all activities.
• Collaborate with other teachers to integrate physical education with other curriculums.
• Advocate for the importance of physical education within the school community.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and participation.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding sports education.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in sports and physical education.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience working as a sports teacher or coach in a school setting.
• Strong understanding of sports pedagogy and effective teaching practices.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple teams and sports activities.
• Effective communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students to develop their athletic abilities.
• Valid teaching license or certification in Physical Education is preferred.
