Job Description

The Social Media Executive is a dynamic and creative individual responsible for managing and developing a company's social media presence. You will play a key role in enhancing brand awareness within the digital space by driving website traffic and acquiring leads and customers. With a solid understanding of how each social media channel works, you will optimize content to encourage engagement and attract both followers and new clients. As a Social Media Executive, you will monitor trends and developments in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy. You will be part of a growing team that is at the forefront of digital marketing efforts, contributing to the overall success of the company's marketing goals.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategies across all platforms to align with business goals.
  • Create, edit, and publish engaging content on a regular schedule to drive audience engagement and growth.
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement, suggesting content optimization to improve performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams to create social ‘buzz’ around new product launches.
  • Build and maintain a posting schedule, ensuring continuity across all platforms and consistency with brand messaging.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and posts to build community and customer relationships.
  • Analyze social media metrics to optimize strategy and report on campaign performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media and applications.
  • Plan and execute paid social media campaigns to maximize ROI.
  • Engage with industry professionals and influencers to expand social networks and strengthen partnerships.
  • Manage and oversee social media content calendar and posting schedules.
  • Coordinate with the design and branding team to ensure a cohesive online appearance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
  • Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist.
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and knowledge of social analytics tools.
  • Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research for targeted strategies.
  • Ability to deliver creative content ideas, both in writing and visually.
  • Strong multitasking and project management skills within a fast-paced environment.
