Job Description

An SEO Executive is a key player in any digital marketing team, responsible for enhancing a company's online presence by improving search engine rankings. Their primary goal is to drive more traffic to the company’s website, thereby increasing potential leads and sales. This role involves analyzing, reviewing, and implementing changes to websites so they are optimized for search engines. Additionally, an SEO Executive will promote the company’s brand, products, and services across the web to ensure potent visibility. The position requires staying abreast of ever-evolving SEO trends and best practices. The SEO Executive works closely with content creators, designers, and developers to deliver an online experience that is both user-friendly and search-engine-friendly. A successful SEO strategy implements both creative and technical skills, balancing both to achieve increased traffic and improved search engine results.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct keyword research to guide content teams in creating targeted online content.
  • Develop and implement effective link-building strategies to enhance website authority.
  • Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategies’ performance.
  • Collaborate with web developers to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented.
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing purposes.
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and implement changes to improve site architecture.
  • Keep up to date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates from search engines.
  • Perform on-page and off-page SEO activities to boost organic website ratings.
  • Generate and share weekly reports on performance and optimization progress.
  • Analyze competitors' SEO strategies and adjust the company's strategy accordingly.
  • Create and optimize social media content for enhanced SEO results.
  • Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and programming.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an SEO Executive or similar role in digital marketing.
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
  • Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms and their updates.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Moz.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with using data-driven analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a keen eye for creative digital opportunities.
  • Experience in content strategy building, especially with SEO perspectives in mind.
