Job Description

As a Senior Biopharmaceutical Representative with our company, you will play a crucial role in our sales team by promoting and selling our biopharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals and organizations. This position requires a thorough understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, as well as strong relationships with healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders and clients to drive sales, increase market share, and ensure customer satisfaction. This dynamic role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies, training, and development of junior sales personnel, and actively participating in product launches. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets in the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders.
  • Provide detailed product information and training to healthcare professionals and clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market research and competitor analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and marketing strategies.
  • Conduct regular territory analysis and modify strategies to ensure optimal sales performance.
  • Organize and participate in product launches, symposia, and other promotional events.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Mentor and train junior sales representatives to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all sales activities.
  • Provide feedback from customers and market trends to improve product offerings and strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and competition in the biopharmaceutical sector.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, or a related field is required.
  • At least five years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech sales is essential.
  • Proven track record of success in achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills tailored to a medical audience.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned sales territory.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales management tools is necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
