Job Description

The Quality Assurance Officer plays an integral role in ensuring that all products and services meet established quality standards. Working primarily within manufacturing, technology, or service sectors, the Quality Assurance Officer is tasked with maintaining high customer satisfaction and upholding the organization's reputation. In the role of a Quality Assurance Officer, you will be responsible for devising and reviewing specifications for products or processes, evaluating customer requirements, and leading a team of quality assurance evaluators. The position requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a strong problem-solving capability to identify and address quality issues before they escalate. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures for the organization.
  • Conduct regular audits and internal assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with production teams to establish quality requirements for raw materials.
  • Monitor and evaluate processes to improve efficiency and product quality consistently.
  • Train and guide team members on quality assurance standards and best practices.
  • Analyze quality control data and prepare detailed reports for management review.
  • Identify and address systemic problems within the production processes promptly.
  • Liaise with external auditors to foster positive relationships and ensure compliance.
  • Communicate with customers to address and resolve any quality-related issues.
  • Develop corrective action plans and oversee their implementation to improve processes.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements to suggest technological upgrades.
  • Ensure all quality assurance activities are aligned with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Officer or relevant role with three years minimum.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with various departments and clients.
  • Proficiency in quality management systems and tools such as ISO, Six Sigma, or similar.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze complex technical documentation and reports.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience directing and managing diverse teams effectively.
