Job Description

As a Purchase Executive, you will be an integral part of the procurement team responsible for managing the acquisition of goods and services for the company. Your role will involve negotiating with suppliers, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring that purchasing strategies align with the company's objectives. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Identify potential suppliers and initiate partnership discussions to procure high-quality goods.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with vendors to secure favorable agreements.
  • Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important supplier information.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ascertain company procurement needs and ensure timely supply.
  • Review and process purchase orders, ensuring adherence to budget constraints.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations to assess performance, reliability, and compliance with agreements.
  • Work with finance and operations teams to resolve any issues related to invoices or product delivery.
  • Implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality or service standards.
  • Stay updated on new technology and systems to enhance procurement efficiency.
  • Report to management on procurement activities, savings, and supplier performance regularly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in purchasing or procurement management roles.
  • Strong negotiation skills and proficiency in negotiating with suppliers and vendors.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and supplier strategies to optimize procurement decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to interact effectively with stakeholders.
  • Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
