Job Description

As a Purchase Executive, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the procurement process within the organization. Your expertise will ensure that all purchasing activities are conducted efficiently and aligned with company policies and budgets. You will be responsible for selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of quality goods and services. Responsibilities

  • Identify potential suppliers, both domestically and internationally, for key company needs.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions for the organization.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Coordinate with various departments to understand their purchasing requirements and timelines.
  • Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions for the company.
  • Evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual terms and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to facilitate negotiations and issue resolution.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation of all transactions.
  • Conduct regular meetings and communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate regular reports on purchasing activities and present findings to management.
  • Lead initiatives to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies in the procurement process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to maintain excellent vendor relationships.
  • Proficiency in purchasing software and other relevant inventory management tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess market trends and pricing.
  • Proven track record of achieving cost savings and process improvements in procurement.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
