Job Description

As a Purchase Executive, you will play a critical role in sourcing and procuring materials, goods, and services necessary for the organization. You will be responsible for negotiating with vendors, maintaining detailed records, and ensuring that procurement processes adhere to established guidelines and budgetary constraints. The position demands exceptional communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of supply chain management principles. You will collaborate closely with various departments to forecast needs and develop strategies to support the organization's objectives. Responsibilities

  • Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate contracts to achieve optimal pricing.
  • Develop procurement strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust purchasing strategies as necessary.
  • Maintain detailed records of purchases, suppliers, and compliance documentation.
  • Work closely with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs accurately.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services through effective vendor management.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and provide feedback for improvement initiatives.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to purchasing orders or deliveries.
  • Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with established legal and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitive strategies.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities and expenditures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement or purchasing role.
  • Strong understanding of contract terms, negotiation strategies, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to analyze data and produce actionable insights for procurement strategies.
