Job Description

The Project Manager for Construction (30J25) is responsible for overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within the scope, and within budget. This role demands a dynamic leader capable of managing and coordinating project teams, making critical decisions under pressure, and liaising effectively with a broad range of stakeholders including clients, architects, and contractors. The ideal candidate should possess a blend of technical knowledge and leadership prowess to drive project success and ensure compliance with industry standards. With an eye for detail and a proactive approach, the Project Manager must ensure that every aspect of the construction project aligns with client expectations and contributes positively to the company’s growth and reputation.


Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and oversee construction projects from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress effectively.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within the scope, and within budget.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for seamless execution.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks proactively.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors and clients.
  • Communicate project status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards during construction.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to oversee all phases of the project’s development.
  • Analyze, manage, and mitigate project risks while ensuring quality standards are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant field.
  • Proven working experience as a Project Manager in construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction management processes, means, and methods.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Strong leadership skills to lead and motivate teams effectively.
  • Proficient in project management and office software tools like MS Project.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills for stakeholder management.
