Job Description

The Procurement Operations Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless flow of goods and services that are critical to the operations of our organization. This role involves supporting the procurement team in transactions, coordinating with vendors, processing orders, and managing relationships with suppliers. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure compliance with the procurement policies and standards. By managing and analyzing procurement databases, the Procurement Operations Associate will help optimize the supply chain and contribute to the company's strategic goals. Responsibilities

  • Process procurement requests and ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Coordinate with vendors to negotiate prices and terms of service agreements.
  • Maintain and update procurement files, records, and databases effectively.
  • Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies and procedures.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and price comparisons.
  • Support cross-functional teams in managing vendor relationships and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements consistently.
  • Analyze expenditure data to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders for smooth procurement operations.
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations related to procurement activities.
  • Coordinate logistics for the transportation and delivery of goods and materials.
  • Resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders, invoices, and deliveries promptly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum two years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
