We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our medical team as a Patient Administration Coordinator (26F26). Responsibilities

  • Manage and update patient records using our electronic medical record systems.
  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments efficiently and accurately.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for patient inquiries and provide prompt assistance.
  • Assist with the patient check-in and discharge processes to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Ensure all patient information is processed and maintained confidentially and securely.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely communication and service delivery.
  • Process billing inquiries and assist with insurance documentation and claims.
  • Maintain and analyze patient information databases to identify areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate communication between patients and medical staff for treatment schedules.
  • Update and track patient referrals and follow-ups to monitor patient progress.
  • Prepare and distribute necessary paperwork and communiqués to patients and staff.
  • Participate in the training of new staff members in patient administration tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in healthcare administration or a related field.
  • Prior experience in medical administration or patient coordination is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are critical for task success.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records systems and office software applications.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
