Job Description

As an Operations Manager (Logistics), you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating various logistics operations within the organization. With a focus on optimizing supply chain processes, you will manage logistics personnel and systems to ensure efficiency and productivity. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor logistics metrics and KPIs to assess and improve operational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal company policies.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks in the logistics process proactively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics activities with company goals.
  • Implement process improvements and innovative solutions to streamline operations.

  • Prepare and present reports on logistics activities and performance to senior management.
  • Mentor and develop team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Proven experience in managing logistics operations with leadership responsibility.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex data and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite for efficient operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
