Job Description

The role of an Operations Head is central to the strategic and operational functioning of an organization. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, ensuring efficiency, and driving business growth through effective management and strategic planning. Your leadership will be essential in aligning operations with company goals, optimizing resource use, and enhancing productivity across departments. The Operations Head is a key player in facilitating communication and coordination between various departments to ensure smooth and efficient workflows. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the company’s daily operations and ensure smooth, efficient workflow.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and growth targets.
  • Coordinate between departments to promote seamless collaboration across the organization.
  • Monitor operational performance and devise strategies to minimize costs and enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance productivity.
  • Contribute to financial planning and manage budgeting processes alongside the finance department.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and key partners.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team to maximize individual and group potential.
  • Drive change management initiatives to support the organization's evolving needs and technology upgrades.
  • Develop a robust risk management plan and lead its implementation across operations.
  • Prepare and present operational reports to the executive team and board of directors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or related field is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to manage and optimize business process designs and improvements.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven experience in developing and managing teams effectively.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential for success.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and performance metrics for operational efficiency enhancement.
