Job Description

The Key Account Executive plays a crucial role in driving business growth through strategic management of key client accounts. This role requires the individual to build and maintain strong relationships with major clients, ensuring their needs are met while identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell the company’s services or products. The Key Account Executive will work closely with internal teams to ensure the delivery of exceptional service and customer satisfaction. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing account plans that align with the company’s strategic objectives. Critical to this role is the ability to understand customer needs, anticipate challenges, and create innovative solutions to enhance client satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage long-term relationships with key accounts to maximize business growth.
  • Analyze clients' business needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within existing key accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and service delivery excellence.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure mutually beneficial terms for all parties.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify potential areas of improvement.
  • Prepare detailed reports on account performance and progress towards targets.
  • Develop account plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and increase revenue.
  • Resolve any client grievances and escalate complex issues promptly when needed.
  • Participate in regular meetings with clients to discuss needs and progress.
  • Provide feedback and insights to senior management to guide strategic planning.
  • Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge to accurately address client inquiries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years experience in sales, account management, or related roles.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing client accounts.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence key decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite for reporting and analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
