An IT Technical Support Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of an organization’s technology infrastructure. Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve help desk requests both remotely and onsite when needed.
  • Assist in software installations, updates, and essential system maintenance tasks.
  • Document and track all service requests and resolution steps in a systematic way.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve technical support processes and tools.
  • Ensure network security and manage antivirus solutions to protect organizational data.
  • Conduct user training sessions to help staff understand technology functionalities.
  • Identify recurring technical issues and propose effective long-term solutions.
  • Set up new accounts and handle permissions in coordination with IT security protocols.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends and continuous skill improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a technical support or IT help desk role is required.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical users.
  • Experience with IT ticketing systems and customer service support tools.
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and on-call shifts.
