The IT Infrastructure Engineer is a crucial role within an organization's IT department, responsible for managing and maintaining the company's technology framework. Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient IT infrastructure solutions to support business operations.
• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure for optimal performance.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and hardware components.
• Ensure the architecture of the IT network and infrastructure meets business continuity requirements.
• Diagnose complex system issues and manage resolution procedures swiftly and effectively.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Develop and maintain technical and procedural documentation for systems management.
• Perform routine security assessments to identify system vulnerabilities and threats.
• Implement system updates and patches to maintain compatibility with current technology.
• Lead projects aimed at improving the current infrastructure and systems capabilities.
• Monitor and test system performance to provide feedback for necessary improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide IT support and fulfill project objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Engineer or similar role in a corporate setting.
• Strong knowledge of network and server management including cloud solutions.
• Proficiency with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL is an advantage.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
