Job Description

As an International Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in expanding the company's global reach and driving international sales growth. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities abroad, maintaining relationships with international clients, and understanding the diverse market demands across different countries. Your role will require you to be well-versed in global commerce, cross-cultural communication, and market research. You are expected to be proactive in connecting with potential clients, negotiating deals, and closing sales that boost the company's revenue. Working as part of a dynamic team, you will collaborate closely with the marketing and finance departments to align sales strategies. Your insights and feedback will help tailor products and services to meet international clientele's unique needs, ensuring competitive advantages in the global market.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in international markets.
  • Engage with potential international clients via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
  • Compile comprehensive market research to understand country-specific demands and trends.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing international clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to create tailored sales materials for various cultures.
  • Negotiate terms and contracts with international clients to secure favorable deals.
  • Travel to international trade shows and exhibitions to promote company products.
  • Provide feedback to product development teams on international customer needs and preferences.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to management on a regular basis.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade laws and monitor changes affecting trade agreements.
  • Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of international orders.
  • Conduct training sessions for local sales teams on international sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in international sales or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of international trade and global market dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills across diverse cultures and languages.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in international markets.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 30% of the time or as needed.
  • Proficiency in a second language is highly desirable for this position.
