Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to establish design goals and project requirements.
• Develop detailed design plans, including floor plans and 3D visualizations.
• Select furniture, fabrics, colors, and finishes to convey design concepts.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure the successful execution of design projects.
• Create and maintain project budgets, timelines, and all associated documentation.
• Conduct site visits to ensure design implementation adheres to client specifications.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and design innovations.
• Communicate design concepts and plans clearly to clients and team members.
• Provide guidance and support to junior designers during project execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations in all projects undertaken.
• Source and procure furniture and decor items aligned with design themes.
• Develop design presentations and proposals that highlight creative vision.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Interior Designer with a strong portfolio.
• Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field required.
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of color theory, design styles, and spatial planning.
• Excellent communication skills for client and contractor interactions.
• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and practices is advantageous.
