We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves performing maintenance, repair, and installation work on complex HVAC systems in commercial and residential buildings. The technician will ensure that HVAC systems are running efficiently, safely, and reliably. Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently or with a team are essential. Our HVAC Technicians are on the front line of service delivery and play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction through quality workmanship and a service-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure HVAC systems operate smoothly.
• Diagnose malfunctioning HVAC systems and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
• Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and ensure proper functionality.
• Interpret and apply building codes and regulations for HVAC system installations.
• Provide estimates and quotes for repair jobs and new installations to customers.
• Maintain detailed service records and document all maintenance and repair activities.
• Test and measure components to verify system functionality following repairs.
• Recommend system upgrades and enhancements to improve energy efficiency.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests from clients to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with other technicians and subcontractors for complex installation projects.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations at all job sites.
• Client communication to explain issues and solutions clearly and effectively.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in HVAC systems preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience working as an HVAC Technician.
• Valid HVAC technician license and certifications compliant with local regulations.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients.
• Ability to handle physical workload and lift heavy equipment when necessary.
