Job Description

The HR Operations, Compensation & Benefits Specialist is a crucial position within the human resources department, focusing on managing and optimizing employee compensation and benefits programs. This role requires a professional who can efficiently coordinate various human resources activities, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The specialist will be responsible for developing compensation structures, managing benefits programs, and acting as a liaison between employees and management regarding compensation and benefits issues. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement compensation policies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate and analyze market data to maintain competitive pay structures and benefits packages.
  • Manage and administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and organizational policies related to compensation.
  • Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate and timely employee compensation and benefits payments.
  • Work with management to address employee inquiries regarding salary and benefit programs.
  • Conduct analyses of compensation programs to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management regarding compensation strategies.
  • Facilitate employee education sessions to increase awareness of available compensation benefits.
  • Assist in the negotiation of contracts with external benefits providers and vendors.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to guide organizational compensation strategies.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to integrate compensation details in wider HR initiatives and plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in HR operations or compensation and benefits management.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation structures and employee benefits management practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and identify trends.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software and tools is required.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Thorough understanding of labor laws and regulatory compliance requirements in HR.
