Job Description

The HR Administrator is a pivotal role within any organization, tasked with supporting the HR department to ensure smooth and effective operations. The position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can manage a multitude of tasks efficiently. An HR Administrator plays a crucial role in handling the day-to-day HR functions, including employee record management, payroll processing, recruitment, onboarding, and addressing employee queries. This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Successful HR Administrators often possess strong problem-solving skills, enabling them to address and resolve employee issues swiftly. By working collaboratively with other HR team members, the HR Administrator helps foster a positive work environment and enhance employee satisfaction and productivity.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
  • Assist with the administration of employee health and welfare plans.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Prepare and process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies.
  • Support recruitment efforts including screening resumes and conducting interviews.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and relevant employment laws.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee records and sensitive information.
  • Generate and prepare HR reports and presentations as required.
  • Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Liaise with external partners, such as insurance vendors and benefits providers.
  • Continuously identify and recommend process improvements in HR practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in an HR administrative role.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and employment law regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times.
