Job Description

The Guest Relations Executive plays a crucial role in managing and enhancing the guest experience at our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a warm personality, strong communication skills, and the ability to resolve issues in an efficient and customer-friendly manner. As the first point of contact for guests, the Guest Relations Executive must ensure every visitor feels welcomed and valued throughout their stay. This position requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to anticipate guests' needs, and the commitment to upholding the highest standards of hospitality. The candidate will work closely with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery and continuously strive for exceptional guest satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and provide personalized service.
  • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address room requests or issues.
  • Assist guests with bookings, reservations, and itinerary planning as needed.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of local attractions and services for guest assistance.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure quality guest experiences.
  • Monitor guest feedback and provide actionable insights to management for improvements.
  • Prepare and deliver personalized welcome notes and amenities for VIP guests.
  • Support the team during high occupancy periods and special events.
  • Organize guest files and secure sensitive information to maintain privacy.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff in the Guest Relations team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a hospitality or guest service role required.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and communication tools.
  • Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills are a plus.
