Job Description

As a Furniture Sales Manager, you will lead our dynamic sales team and drive the growth of our business by understanding market trends, identifying opportunities, and developing strategic sales plans. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all aspects of the sales operations, ensuring the achievement of customer satisfaction and sales growth targets. You will be involved in training and developing your team to enhance their skills and performance, building strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer service, and establishing and maintaining a strong presence in the competitive furniture market. This role requires a sales-oriented mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for the furniture industry.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the furniture market.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the performance of the furniture sales team.
  • Monitor the performance of the sales team and provide coaching for improvement.
  • Identify new business opportunities through research and networking.
  • Manage relationships with key clients and ensure high levels of satisfaction.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures within the sales team.

  • Oversee the selection and management of product displays and promotions.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Organize sales meetings and training sessions to enhance team effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a sales manager in the furniture industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic sales initiatives.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret sales data to guide decision-making processes.
