Job Description

As a Fitness Instructor at [Company Name], you will be at the forefront of guiding individuals towards achieving their health and fitness goals. Responsibilities

  • Conduct one-on-one training sessions to assist clients in meeting their fitness goals.
  • Lead dynamic and motivational group fitness classes for diverse age groups.
  • Monitor clients’ progress and adjust fitness programs to challenge them appropriately.
  • Educate clients on the importance of nutrition and complementing exercise with a balanced diet.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of clients during fitness sessions and classes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workout space to provide an excellent customer experience.
  • Stay updated on the latest fitness trends, tools, and technologies in the industry.
  • Utilize effective communication skills to motivate and inspire clients consistently.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by being approachable and responsive to inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate client records, including attendance and progress reports.
  • Promote the fitness facility and its programs to new and potential clients.

Requirements

  • Certification from a recognized fitness organization such as ACE, NASM, or AFAA.
  • Minimum of one year experience instructing in a gym or fitness environment.
  • Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, nutrition, and program design.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to create safe and effective workout plans for various fitness levels.
  • CPR and First Aid certification or the ability to obtain within the first month.
  • Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
