Job Description

As a Field Quality Manager, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that products and services meet established quality standards in the field. This role is crucial for maintaining customer satisfaction through high-quality outputs and efficient operations. You will lead a team of quality inspectors and auditors dedicated to upholding the integrity of our products and processes. Your analytical skills will play a vital role in identifying inefficiencies and implementing improvements. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality control plans and procedures in the field.
  • Lead and manage field quality inspection teams to ensure thorough quality checks.
  • Monitor and evaluate product quality and performance across different field locations.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to determine quality adherence and compliance.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to address quality issues and implement solutions.
  • Analyze quality data and generate reports to track performance and suggest improvements.
  • Train field staff on quality standards and practices to promote consistency and reliability.
  • Coordinate with supply chain teams to resolve supplier-related quality challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company quality standards and policies.
  • Initiate root cause analysis for quality issues and oversee corrective actions.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client concerns regarding product quality.
  • Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a field quality management position is essential.
  • Strong understanding of quality control procedures and relevant industry standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in using quality management software and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to travel frequently to various field locations as required by the job.
  • Certification in Quality Management or Six Sigma is highly desirable.
