Job Description

The Executive-Testing role is a critical position responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of products before they reach the market. This position requires an individual with strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage and lead testing processes and teams. The Executive-Testing will be expected to develop comprehensive testing strategies, manage testing resources, and work closely with development teams to identify and resolve potential issues. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of product quality and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Executive-Testing will also play an integral part in shaping the testing protocols and ensuring they meet industry standards and best practices. An ideal candidate will have a solid background in quality assurance, software testing methodologies, and a demonstrated ability to manage teams and projects effectively.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies for new and existing products.
  • Lead and manage a team of testers to ensure high-quality output.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve problems and improve testability.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inefficiencies.
  • Ensure testing protocols adhere to industry standards and best practices.
  • Conduct detailed analysis and review of testing results and reports.
  • Oversee the execution of both manual and automated test cases.
  • Stay updated with the latest testing tools, trends, and technologies.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure testing phases align with project timelines.
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance metrics to track improvements.
  • Provide training and mentoring to new testers to develop their skills.
  • Communicate testing updates and results to executive management regularly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Proven experience in leading a team or managing projects effectively.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are necessary.
  • Proficiency with automated testing tools and frameworks is required.
  • In-depth experience with bug tracking and issue management tools.
