As an Executive Chef, you will be the creative force and leader of the culinary team, responsible for directing and managing all kitchen operations. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a creative and innovative menu that enhances guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate kitchen staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
  • Maintain food cost within budget while maximizing revenue potential through effective pricing strategies.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate job expectations and review performance standards.
  • Create new recipes and dishes, incorporating regional and seasonal ingredients.
  • Monitor and evaluate food production to maintain the highest quality standards.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, ordering stock as needed to ensure timely kitchen operations.
  • Participate in tasting panels and partner with other departments to enhance guest offerings.
  • Lead by example to maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
  • Develop and train junior kitchen staff, mentoring them to grow in their roles.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role.
  • Culinary school degree or advanced certification in culinary arts or hospitality management.
  • Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills to supervise and lead kitchen staff effectively.
  • Ability to develop and implement creative menu concepts and impactful dining experiences.
  • Proficiency in budgeting and financial management of kitchen operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen safety.
