Job Description

As an Event Sales Executive, you will play a critical role in expanding our company’s event portfolio by securing new business and building lasting relationships with clients. Your primary goal will be to attract and collaborate with clients looking to host memorable and successful events. You will have the opportunity to engage with various industries, ensuring that their event needs are met with creative solutions and top-notch service. You will work closely with the planning and operations teams to translate client visions into reality, and your sales prowess will be key in driving our business forward. Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the event sales pipeline.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design event proposals that meet client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring mutual benefits.
  • Research market trends and competitors to position our services effectively.
  • Attend industry events and networking functions to promote the company brand.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service.
  • Work closely with the planning team to align on event requirements and execution.
  • Prepare detailed reports and analyses of sales performance and forecasts.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets consistently and ethically.
  • Identify potential challenges and feedback and communicate these to management.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of sales strategies and marketing plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the events or hospitality sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing successful deals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and tools for sales tracking.
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail in planning.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours as needed for events and client meetings.
  • Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
