Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems within building facilities.
• Diagnose electrical problems using schematics, diagrams, and other technical resources.

• Develop and enforce standards and processes for electrical maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance and repair projects.
• Implement energy-efficient strategies to reduce the building's overall electrical consumption.
• Document all maintenance activities including repairs, upgrades, and scheduled servicing.
• Collaborate with facilities management to prioritize and schedule maintenance work.
• Respond promptly to emergency callouts and resolve electrical faults swiftly.
• Ensure all electrical systems are compliant with safety regulations and codes.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and maintenance staff.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technological advancements in electrical systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical systems maintenance is essential.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desired.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, maintenance, and troubleshooting is crucial.
• Proficiency with electrical schematic design and electrical CAD software is preferred.
• Solid understanding of building codes and safety regulations related to electrical systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills are required.
