Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Dietician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nutrition science, possess excellent communication skills, and be capable of adjusting dietary plans tailored to individual patient needs. You will work closely with patients to promote healthy eating habits, manage diet-related diseases, and enhance overall wellness. The Dietician will be an integral part of the patient care team, providing expert nutritional guidance and developing comprehensive diet plans. With a focus on both preventive care and treatment, the selected candidate will empower patients through education and support, ensuring long-term health and wellbeing.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough nutritional assessments and develop customized diet plans for patients.
  • Evaluate the nutritional status of patients based on their health reports and medical history.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
  • Educate patients and families on nutritional principles, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle choices.
  • Monitor patients' progress regularly and make necessary adjustments to diet plans as needed.
  • Design and implement public health nutrition and community education programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and document nutritional recommendations.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and dietetics.
  • Provide nutritional counseling and support to help manage specific health conditions.
  • Organize workshops or informational sessions on diet and nutrition topics for patients.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant nutrition policies and healthcare regulations.
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials promoting nutrition and dietary services.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
  • Certification as a Registered Dietician (RD) is required for practice in this role.
  • Proven experience in clinical nutrition, diet counseling, or related settings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients.
  • Ability to analyze complex health data to develop accurate nutritional assessments.
  • Familiarity with current nutrition trends and best practices in dietary planning.
  • Proficient in using nutrition analysis software and electronic health records systems.
