Job Description

The Customer Service Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the utmost satisfaction of customers by addressing their inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing general support. Responsibilities

  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the set time limits.
  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions, processing accounts, and filing documents.
  • Communicate and coordinate with colleagues as necessary to fulfill customer needs.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company’s products or services offered.
  • Identify common issues or trends and escalate any critical feedback to management promptly.
  • Continually engage in professional development to improve both personal and departmental performance.
  • Assist with the placement of orders, refunds, or exchanges while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their issues have been resolved to their satisfaction.
  • Ensure all customer service interactions are recorded according to company processes.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance service capabilities.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer service role is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and efficiency.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail required.
  • Proficiency in using customer service software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education is required; additional certifications are a plus.
