Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors effectively.
• Select tools, materials, and equipment and track inventory regularly.
• Meet contractual conditions of performance and ensure compliance.
• Review the work progress on a daily basis to ensure timeliness.
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging challenges.
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain necessary permits.
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders regularly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Construction Manager or in a similar role.
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules.
• Familiarity with construction management software packages for effective oversight.
• Competent understanding of safety and quality standards in construction projects.
• Excellent time management, leadership, and communication skills are essential.
