We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Civil Engineer to join our team and contribute to significant infrastructure projects. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure, such as roads, railways, airports, bridges, harbors, dams, irrigation projects, pipelines, power plants, and water and sewage systems. Your expertise will drive the creation of safe, efficient, and sustainable systems that transform and improve communities. You will collaborate with a team of engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure that construction initiatives are executed on time and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design construction plans and specifications for civil engineering projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyze potential project risks and constraints.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and reporting for engineering projects.
• Oversee and inspect the work of construction and maintenance contractors.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and codes.
• Coordinate with architects, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to draft and design project components.
• Prepare and present detailed technical reports, proposals, and presentations.
• Advise on sustainable practices and materials for environmental impact reduction.
• Provide engineering support during project bidding and construction phases.
• Review and approve designs, calculations, and cost estimates prepared by junior staff.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in civil engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in civil engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred or in progress.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software applications.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent teamwork, leadership, and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously under pressure.
• Willingness to travel to various job sites as necessary for project needs.
